When the first human visitors step foot on the surface of Mars, they're immediately going to notice that the gravity on Mars is much lower than they're used to on Earth. In fact, the gravity on Mars is 38% the gravity on Earth. In other words, if you weigh 100 kg on Earth, you would only weigh 38 kg on Mars.
