The Cote d’Azur International Airport (airport code NCE) in Nice only ranks behind the Paris airports in terms of importance for France. Additionally, because it is located so close to Monaco it also serves as the Monaco airport. The airport is on the Promenade des Anglais, making it easy to get into Nice itself and its placement often provides lovely views of the Cote d’Azur from arriving and departing planes.
